I lurve the 80s
It has come to my attention that my recent comments concerning the 80s were somewhat untrue. And, yes, i did indeed underestimate the power of the 80s era. And so I have decided to begin a poll on what was truly the best decade of all time, as to settle the argument. So please place your vote on your favourite time era with an explanation of why. To help you decide, hear are top fives for each...

Hey Nathan
Who's anonymous? Well, anyways, I don't really know what my favorite era was as I wasn't born until the 90's so, I guess my favorite era would have to be the 90's because I was born in '91 so I think that's my favorite era but, David was part of the tope five in the 80's wow, well, ttyl!

Your list of the 80's icons is incorrect, or at least incomplete. Let me fix that for you:
1. Captain Planet. Nice tights. Wrong. Really wrong. Try Inspector Gadget.
2. Margaret Thatcher. Very good. I would also accept Ronald Reagan. Margaret never took a bullet for her country, but she was gutsy nonetheless.
3. Nintendo. Only for those without imagination. Try the Commodore 64.
4. David Lambert. Arguably not an icon, but still OK in my book.
5. Short Circuit. Any movie with Steve Guttenberg in a starring role (or a supporting role, for that matter) is automatically eliminated from any kind of icon status. Ghostbusters would be an acceptable substitute, or maybe Raiders of the Lost Ark. After 4 Police Academy movies, 2 Cocoon movies, Three Men and a Baby, and Don't Tell Her it's Me, Steve can legally claim to be Hollywood's biggest turd producer, right next to Dom Deluise after a long night at Taco Bell. Plus he worked with Ally Sheedy. What was he thinking?!

well i don't remember the sixties... right i wasn't there. wasn't there for the seventies either... though i have seen the influence of the seventies. eighties were great... hey there's me, and nintendo(i couldn't have survived with out nintendo), but i would have to definitely say the nineties are the best. i have never played a video game i like more than street fighter... i still play it. oh and toy story, one of the best animated films ever. pulp fiction i haven't seen, but i did finally see resevoir dogs... anyway, yep the 90s.

Ah yes...so, although we never did and may never know the true identity of each power ranger, we do know that we are in fact all power rangers in our own way. We are just the loyal servants of Lord Zordon and we trust him because he just so happens to be a floating head. I do believe in Zordon. I do. And I will follow him, wherever he may go. To the ends of the galaxy. Because you all know, I can't resist a good ol' floating noggin!

Yes so, I decided It would take away the effect if I started commenting after I wrote about what is most dear to my heart, Lord Zordon, and then continued to write about the different decades. So You shall be graced with two comments today, Nathan!
.................
Decades:
Decades Come and decades go,
But come on guys,
Who's gonna remember J. Millionaire and the chateau?
Each affects history
you can always see how
It's no mystery
The sixties brought sex and drugs
screw the war
just give good lovin and hugs
The seventies, need I say more
all you had to do to be cool
was dance around and become a *****
(sry haha)
The Eighties Oh My Lord
What a fashion tradgedy
spandex and frizz were utterly adored
The nineties brought old school rap
the rest is quite trajic
now our music is crap
.....................
So yes... hope you enjoyed.... but truth is, I can't pick just one... Each decade shaped America and the world... JFK, come on who doesn't like a doped up pres? And Darth Vader? Kids will be dressing up as him Forever. There's nothing to beat david lambert. Except maybe pulp fiction.... JK but really.... As far as I can tell, It's all turned out pretty sweet
Much Love
